community collaborations

We are proud that our inclusive, welcoming vibes extend beyond our taproom and into our community, helping those around us lead well-lived lives. Here’s a glimpse at the partnerships and projects we’ve been supporting!

In 2024, we have also provided support to the Calgary Food Bank, Wheelchair Sports Alberta, Colonel Walker Association, Meals on Wheels, and Centre for Newcomers.

bow cyclist club:

The BCC was founded in 2013 and has grown to a 300 member club with the focus of keeping the fun in cycling.

Whether it be a sunny fast road ride, a dusty gravel party, a mountain ripper, or roll to the ice cream shop, they love it all. Their team of ride leaders are passionate cycling enthusiasts able to accommodate many different levels of riders.

In 2024 we became an annual sponsor and are stoked to help our community stay active! Learn more here.

end of the rainbow:

This foundation hosts the Calgary LGBTQ+ Refugee Centre; the Calgary Rainbow Railroad Station, settling refugees from outside Canada; and a variety of volunteer run support groups and mentor services.

Dedicated to all people of any sexual orientation and gender identity whether they are longtime citizens, or new Canadian refugees, or immigrants.

Every summer we host an annual fundraising event as well as Pride Drag Shows (featuring familiar Ol’ Beautiful team members) which raise funds for End of the Rainbow. Learn more here.

alexandrA CENTRE SOCIETY:

Located just a few blocks away from our taproom in Inglewood, ACS is the beating heart of our community. They listen to their neighbours and fill in the gaps by offering support in matters that affect us all.

They care for and protect a piece of Calgary’s history while offering affordable spaces for essential services within their building like daycare and health care. ACS also houses useful programs, special events, community classes, and camps.

We are proud to support their annual events including Home for The Holidays. Learn more here.
